Frequently
Asked Questions

Q: What should I do if I need a Doctor?

A: This is a walk-in style medical center staffed by qualified, licensed physicians. However, you can call the clinic to make same day appointments as well. Calling ahead to make a same day appointment might save you some time when the clinic is busy as you will have a time slot reserved for you before you arrive at the clinic.

Q: Who can be treated at these clinics?

A: Anyone with a health concern or illness can be assessed at these clinics. If you have a Travel Insurance, a copy of your clinical notes will be forwarded to your Insurance Company for you.

Q: Do I need an appointment?

A: Patients may call for a same day appointment anytime after 8:00am during the weekdays. On the weekend, you may call to make an appointment one hour before each clinic opens. However, you may also simply walk in during clinic hours to be seen by the physician.

Q: Do I have to pay to see the physician?

A: No, most of the medical services offered at the Traveller's Choice Medical Centers are covered under your travel insurance or other medical plans, but you must bring your insurance policy and passport (or travel document) with you, in order to avoid any misinterpretation. In case if you do not have a travel insurance or your coverage had been expired, we accept cash, debit and VISA (credit cards) and will issue a receipt for any services incurred.

Q: If I cut myself, can I get sutures at these clinics?

A: Yes. Suturing of minor, uncomplicated lacerations ("cuts") is now offered at Traveller's Choice Medical Centers.
